Maralyn Dennis Hill
Maralyn Dennis Hill, mdhill@noralyn.com, CEO of NoraLyn Ltd., founded and built a Connecticut based promotional advertising firm, Brink Associates, Ltd. She developed and wrote sales training and motivational programs for both management and employees, as well as programs emphasizing safety and quality.
Maralyn received her Masters Degree in Organizational Development from the University of Massachusetts in 1990. She has presented papers at organizational conferences, and at writer’s conferences—international and domestic. She continues to be a consultant, speaker, coach, and seminar leader.
Maralyn and long time friend and associate Brenda Hill have developed a series of Whatever It Takes (WIT) Workshops, where she and Brenda coach participants to achieve goals.
She has coauthored two books with Brenda, Our Love Affairs with Food & Travel, and Cooking Secrets, The Why and How…, and they are working on their next one. The second book was also co-authored with French Master Chef Hervé Laurent.
Maralyn provides consulting, coaching and editing services to other authors and gives monthly writing seminars. Recently, she was producer and host of a Time Warner Cable television and web series, “Dishing with Carolina Chefs.” She interviewed a broad cross-section of Carolina area chefs.
Maralyn is president of the International Food, Wine, & Travel Writers Association, as well as its Conference Chairman. She is also a member of the Organizational Network, The Organizational Development Institute, Travel Writers Association, Freelance Writers.com, The Association of Psychological Type International, and other professional associations.
Maralyn’s approach is to offer consulting and coaching services that provide an identifiable return to clients on their investment.
Maralyn resides in Gilbert, AZ with her husband Norman. She travels for work and they travel together for pleasure. Maralyn intends to stay actively working while still enjoying time with her family.
